15th April 2013

We've been back to Bespoked Bristol 2013, the British hand-crafted bike show during April.

Among the bikes we showed was this fine blue archetype (look it up) of a classic racing bike, but with all mod cons - oversized Life tubing (the seat tube walls are so thin a specially-sized seatpost has to be used to ensure a perfect fit and prevent damage to the tube - but it's still strong enough to allow a braze-on clamp rather than a seatpost collar) for a super-responsive ride, lugged, designed to use a standard aheadset, with carbon forks matched to the frame colour and with 11-speed Campagnolo Chorus groupset. A restrained look, nice and light and built to perform with a minimum of fuss. If you want to stand out from the carbon crowd, look no further.
